Facility Management Engineer/Technician  - Listed 6 Aug 2009

We are looking for several Facility Management Engineers/Technicians to work as a team to manage our client's office building. Write to us if you are an individual who has experience in the activities listed below, and is keen to take up new challenges! ROLE
Supervise FM Service vendor on:

  • Electrical systems and infrastructure incl. power generators and isolation transformers, HT/LT switch boards and panels, MSB & PDUs, UPS and batteries, branch circuit monitoring system, underground fuel tanks, fuel pumps 
  • Mechanical systems and infrastructure incl. chillers, cooling towers, water pumps, AHUs, CRAC units, pipe works 
  • Fire Safety Systems incl. Arganote Gas Fire Suppression System, FM200 Fire Suppression System, Sprinkle Systems, Fire Detection System 
  • Security Systems and resources incl. CCTV Systems, Biometric Access Control System, Break-contact and alarm systems, Traka Key Management System, Front-gate gantry system, security guards and reporting points 
  • Water Detection System 
  • BMS/EMS Systems 
  • Lift maintenance 
  • Landscaping and gardening works 

Perform building management functions:

  • Handle tenancy related issues, e.g. risks assessment reports, tenant fit our briefing, tenant reinstatement, etc. 
  • Respond to tenant’s request for services, e.g. after-office aircon services, plumbing issues, water leakage issues etc. 
  • Building maintenance works 

QUALIFICATION

  • Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or Building Management. 
  • At least 3 years’ experience in electrical, mechanical or building management work, preferably with exposure in maintaining mission-critical facilities. 
  • Other relevant certifications, e.g. Fire-safety Manager (FSM), Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery (BC/DR) certifications etc

FACILITY MANAGERS/ASSISTANT FACILITY MANAGERS (SINGAPORE)   - Listed 30Jul 2009

Our client is a leading player in the treatment and management of drinking 

and process water, waste-water, bio-solids, sludge, municipal solid waste 

and hazardous waste. By leveraging on their wide engineering expertise and 

global network, our client strives to conserve the environment and makes it 

cleaner and more sustainable. 

 

 As part of its ongoing expansion plan, our client would like to recruit an 

experienced, dynamic and committed professionals for the positions of 

Facility Managers/Assistant Facility Managers. 

 

  

 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

As the Facility Manager/Assistant Facility Manager, your duties will include but will not be limited to;  

*           Oversee and lead a team in facility management for health care institutions, educational institutions, commercial buildings and airport 

*           Establish good working relationships with clients and to develop trust and confidence 

*           Establish and maintain quality service standards 

*           Coordinate and liaise with external agencies on new initiatives and major repairs and maintenance works. 

*           Prepare tender documents and specifications  

*           Plan, coordinate and execute rectification works 

*           Responsible for project costing and control 

 

 REQUIREMENTS:    

*           Possesses a recognized Degree/Diploma in Engineering or Building Services (or any other related field). 

*           Proven experience in facility management in a large facility.  

*           Able to work independently and possess good inter personal skills. 

*           Good communication skills both verbal and written.
